Opera Australia’s Ring Cycle – I am already selling my holding of tickets for the second Melbourne production of the Ring Cycle. The tickets are for the third of the cycles commencing on 09 December 2016. All the tickets sold so far are for people who went to the first production! As for 2013, we are offering an associated program of accommodation, meals during the performance intervals, and touring.

Summer in Tasmania – enjoy another musical weekend in Hobart in late February. This time Seraphim Trio will be performing Schubert works, and as a special treat, two of their colleagues will assist them in the much loved “Trout” quintet. Good food, Tasmanian wine and a bit of touring, with superb chamber music in a delightful country inn. A short tour for those who don’t want to go on a major journey.

And in his last Music tour for Alumni Travel, Len Amadio will be taking his group in mid-September for opera and concerts from Amsterdam to Zurich, but focusing on the Rhine River and the annual Beethoven Festival. The performances are being selected to make the most of the season in each city and there will be a cruise along the most beautiful section of the river.
